ROUNDABOUT AHEAD

Where you see itBefore circular intersections

What it means

A roundabout is ahead: a one-way circle around a center island where entering traffic yields to traffic already circulating.

What you should do

Slow on approach, yield to traffic in the circle, enter on a gap, and keep moving with the one-way flow until your exit. Never stop inside the circle.

Memory trick

The chasing arrows show the dance: everyone the same direction, nobody stops mid-circle.

The mistake drivers make

Stopping inside the roundabout for an entering car, out of politeness. The circle only works when circulating traffic keeps its priority.
